About Cardiomyopathy Prophylaxis:  Cardiomyopathy is a disease of the heart rate, causing the heart muscle to become enlarged, either thick or rigid. These changes impair the ability of the heart to pump blood flow around the entire system and weaken its electrical activity. This may lead to heart failure and rhythm issues (arrythmias).There are 3 distinct types of cardiomyopathy depending on physical heart changes. Causes are often unknown but may include drinking a lot of alcohol during extended intervals, genetics or vulnerability to illnesses. Symptoms range from shortness of breath, fatigue, fatigue, fluid retention particularly and vary based on type. The objective of treatment is to relieve symptoms, treat the cause also to prevent further damage also if known.
